Summer's Almost Gone

"When summer's gone,
Where will we be?"*

With just a few more shows up north, it's time to think about packing up again and heading south for the Florida show season.  We've had a great Spring-Fall with some wildly successful shows (thank you Bethesda, Rockville, Columbia, Frederick and Arlington) and a few where it turns out not everyone likes digitized fiber art (you know who you are).

Still to come before we leave are Alexandria, Gaithersburg, and Williamsburg.  Alexandria is the crème de la crème of  East Coast juried fine art shows and we are very excited to have been invited back.  It's our first show in Williamsburg.  (I hope they don't remember the time and space I wasted at W&M in 1969!)

Our plan this year is for Staci to move the van and art down to Florida on the car train.  She'll fly back and then we'll stuff the car with clothes and fill the Yeti cooler with Piper's ridiculously hard to find/outrageously expensive frozen food and head for points south.

As usual, the destination is Marathon in the Keys.  We love wintering there even though it adds about 2 hours to the drive for any show.  It's worth it.

First up in 2016 is the Las Olas Fine Art Festival in Ft. Lauderdale.

Check our show schedule page to see where else we'll be.  The Winter schedule is still a work in progress as we wait to hear the jury results for our various applications.

And that's where we'll be when summer's gone.
